These Terms and Conditions govern the access, use, participation, interaction, and engagement with the services, platforms, financial programs, Self Help Group (SHG) initiatives, digital systems, operational activities, and associated services provided by Bharat Social Finance Corporation (BSFC). By accessing BSFC websites, mobile platforms, customer systems, digital applications, field operations, financial assistance programs, SHG initiatives, customer support channels, or related services, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Bharat Social Finance Corporation (BSFC) operates as a rural-focused financial services and development-oriented institution supporting financial inclusion, community empowerment, Self Help Group development, women entrepreneurship initiatives, livelihood enhancement programs, rural enterprise support activities, and associated financial assistance services. BSFC reserves the right to modify, suspend, restrict, discontinue, or update any service, platform, operational model, financial program, or feature at its sole discretion and without prior notice where permitted by law.

Users accessing BSFC services agree to provide accurate, complete, current, and lawful information during registration, onboarding, application submission, customer verification, financial assessment, SHG participation, or any interaction with BSFC systems or representatives. Submission of false, misleading, forged, incomplete, fraudulent, or inaccurate information may result in rejection of applications, suspension of services, cancellation of participation, reporting to regulatory authorities, legal proceedings, or any other lawful action considered appropriate by BSFC.

Access to financial assistance, SHG participation, livelihood programs, business support services, or any financial products offered by BSFC shall remain subject to eligibility assessment, operational feasibility, verification procedures, internal approval standards, regulatory requirements, risk evaluation, documentation review, and applicable legal obligations. Submission of an application, inquiry, or participation request does not guarantee approval, funding, disbursement, or continued access to any BSFC service.

Users acknowledge that all financial assistance programs, microfinance activities, livelihood support initiatives, SHG financing services, and development-oriented programs involve financial obligations and responsibilities. Customers, applicants, SHG members, or beneficiaries receiving financial support from BSFC shall remain legally responsible for repayment obligations, service charges, applicable fees, contractual liabilities, penalties, or related financial commitments in accordance with agreed repayment schedules, financing terms, operational agreements, and applicable financial regulations.

BSFC may collect, verify, process, store, and share personal, financial, operational, demographic, technical, and business-related information for lawful operational purposes including customer onboarding, KYC verification, financial assessment, risk management, fraud prevention, legal compliance, customer communication, repayment monitoring, operational administration, regulatory reporting, and financial inclusion activities. Information handling practices shall be governed in accordance with the BSFC Privacy Policy and applicable Indian laws.

Users consent to BSFC contacting them through phone calls, SMS, email, WhatsApp, postal communication, mobile notifications, field visits, digital communication systems, or other lawful communication methods for purposes related to customer support, operational updates, repayment reminders, financial awareness programs, verification activities, grievance handling, service-related communication, legal notices, or authorized marketing communication where permitted by applicable law.

BSFC reserves the right to conduct customer verification, field assessments, business evaluations, SHG reviews, operational monitoring, repayment follow-ups, and financial compliance activities directly or through authorized representatives, field officers, banking partners, technology service providers, verification agencies, collection support agencies, or operational partners engaged for legitimate business purposes.

Users shall not misuse BSFC services, digital systems, customer support channels, financial programs, operational platforms, or communication systems for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, misleading, defamatory, unauthorized, or prohibited purposes. Unauthorized access attempts, misuse of digital platforms, impersonation, submission of forged documents, financial fraud, cyber activities, data theft, operational interference, or misuse of community programs may result in immediate suspension of services, termination of participation, financial recovery proceedings, legal action, criminal complaints, or regulatory reporting.

BSFC may engage third-party banking institutions, payment gateways, technology providers, insurance partners, verification agencies, operational vendors, consultants, auditors, and financial service providers to support lawful operational activities. While BSFC makes reasonable efforts to work with reliable service providers, BSFC shall not be held responsible for delays, interruptions, technical failures, losses, or damages caused by third-party systems, banking networks, payment gateways, internet failures, cyber incidents, government restrictions, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond reasonable operational control.

All digital content, website materials, trademarks, logos, graphics, documents, service descriptions, operational systems, branding elements, software components, text, designs, and intellectual property associated with BSFC shall remain the exclusive property of BSFC or its authorized licensors unless otherwise stated. Users shall not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, exploit, or commercially use BSFC intellectual property without prior written authorization.

BSFC may report repayment history, financial behavior, loan performance, defaults, or related financial information to authorized credit information companies, financial institutions, regulators, or lawful authorities in accordance with applicable laws, RBI guidelines, financial sector practices, and operational requirements. Customers acknowledge that delayed repayment, defaults, financial disputes, or non-compliance with financing obligations may negatively affect future credit eligibility and financial assessments.

BSFC does not guarantee uninterrupted access to websites, applications, digital systems, financial services, communication platforms, or operational support channels. Temporary suspension, maintenance activities, system upgrades, security measures, technical interruptions, operational changes, or force majeure circumstances may affect accessibility without prior notice.

Customers, SHG members, applicants, and users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords, OTPs, account credentials, verification codes, and sensitive financial information associated with BSFC services. Users shall immediately notify BSFC regarding suspected fraud, unauthorized access, security breaches, suspicious communications, or misuse of customer accounts.

BSFC shall not be liable for indirect losses, business interruptions, income loss, opportunity loss, consequential damages, reputation loss, data loss, livelihood impact, market fluctuations, business performance outcomes, or financial expectations arising from the use of BSFC services, financial programs, digital systems, operational activities, or third-party interactions, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

As a community-oriented and SHG-powered financial institution, BSFC promotes responsible participation, ethical conduct, financial discipline, community respect, and transparent operational engagement. SHG coordinators, group representatives, field staff, and participants are expected to maintain lawful and ethical behavior while participating in BSFC-supported activities.

BSFC reserves the right to amend, revise, modify, suspend, or update these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect operational changes, legal requirements, regulatory updates, technology developments, service improvements, or organizational policies. Updated Terms and Conditions shall become effective upon publication through official BSFC communication channels unless otherwise required by law.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, legal proceedings, claims, or matters arising in connection with BSFC services, operations, financial activities, digital systems, or customer interactions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts located within the jurisdiction of BSFC’s registered office, subject to applicable legal provisions.
